Painting Window Sills Interior (2025)

Here’s a draft for a review on painting interior window sills, written from a homeowner’s perspective:

Painter’s tape (choose a "delicate surface" version if your walls are freshly painted) Wood filler or spackle Tack cloth or a damp rag painting window sills interior

Makes a huge difference – just prep carefully Rating: 4/5 or 5/5 (adjust as you like) Here’s a draft for a review on painting

Apply painter’s tape where the sill meets the window glass and the surrounding walls. Use a putty knife to press the edge of the tape down firmly to prevent paint "bleed." Step 4: Prime Once dry, sand the filler smooth with 220-grit paper

Sand the surface with 120-grit sandpaper to "scuff" the old finish; this helps the new paint stick. If there are dents from flower pots or scratches from pets, fill them with wood filler. Once dry, sand the filler smooth with 220-grit paper. Step 3: Tape Off

Painting interior window sills requires a durable, moisture-resistant finish to handle sun exposure and condensation.

: Fill chips or cracks with wood filler. For gaps between the sill and wall, use paintable caulk.

Just ran into this problem on new Win11 computer. The latest OLE and ODBC installers on https://github.com/VFPX/VFPInstallers resolved the issue for me. Thank you!

Some of my applications were regenerated using Chen's VFPA10 (64-bit), but one thing makes this experience unhappy: there is no VFPOleDB @64bit, making certain options like automation to Excel much more complicated. Will we one day have 64-bit VFPoleDB?
