At the McAllister house, Mandy struggles to get baby CeCe to stop crying. Georgie tries to help by singing an off-key country song. CeCe laughs — but Mandy glares. Jim walks in with a new CB radio. “DDC,” he says. “Means ‘Don’t Disturb the Crying.’” Georgie mishears it as “DDC — Dallas, Dumbass, and Chaos.” The title card hits.

Georgie pitches a side hustle to Connor: selling homemade tire shine at the Big Tex Truck Stop outside Dallas. Connor is useless as always, but Jim overhears and invites himself along to “supervise.” Mandy reluctantly agrees, hoping it will build a bridge between the two.
The episode kicks off with (Montana Jordan) in a state of pure panic. After months of proving his worth and essentially running the day-to-day at the tire shop, he discovers that Jim (Will Sasso) is seriously considering selling the business to his long-time rival, Fred Fagenbacher . Georgie’s big idea to sell tire shine at a Dallas truck stop backfires when Mandy’s father, Jim, insists on joining — leading to a father-in-law/son-in-law road trip that reveals more than either bargained for.
Desperate to keep the shop, Georgie turns to Mary Cooper (Zoe Perry) for help. In a surprising show of support for her son's future, Mary offers her house as collateral to help fund a buyout.
They both agreed that they needed to communicate better and be more considerate of each other's feelings. They made a plan to have a weekly "state of the union" meeting to discuss any issues and work through them together.
