Cora looks at the main screen. The asteroid field is looming. She looks at the rear-view monitor. The obsidian mirror in the cargo bay is glowing blindingly bright.

Jax is eating a bowl of synthetic stew. He’s reading a tablet. Across the room, a small wall mirror hangs near the sink. cora episode 14

CORA > Jax!

JAX > Huh.

CORA > (Whispering) > I’m not afraid of you.

She slams the extinguisher into Ren’s chest plate. Sparks fly. Ren stumbles back, their grip on the controls broken. JAX > Leave me alone

Cora walks with Ren. She looks tired.
