If either party has been previously married, Florida law requires that you provide the date the previous marriage ended (divorce, annulment, or death). You do not typically need to bring the actual divorce decree, but you must know the specific date.
The 3-day waiting period still applies unless you complete a Florida-approved premarital course (online courses accepted, see below).
Do not lose the license – unfiled licenses cannot be replaced; you’d need a new application and fee.
