"Diwali Ka Jashn" attempts to do what most holiday films strive for: wrap fireworks, mithai , and family squabbles into a two-hour lesson about togetherness. The story follows the estranged Sharma family—patriarch Mr. Sharma (a stoic Anupam Khanna), his NRI son Arjun (Rajveer Singh), and a long-suffering mother (Neena Gupta-type figure). They reunite in a crowded Lucknow haweli (mansion) after five years. The catalyst?
