The first episode of Coffee Prince introduces us to Go Eun-chan, a bright and scrappy young woman who holds her family together by taking on every odd job imaginable. With her short hair, baggy clothes, and rough-and-tumble demeanor, she is constantly mistaken for a boy—a confusion she rarely bothers to correct, especially when it helps her get work delivering milk or working at construction sites.

He doesn’t know she’s a girl. He thinks she’s a boy with guts. So he makes a bet: if she can turn his loser coffee shop into a place that only hires handsome princes — and make it profitable — he’ll admit she’s amazing.

We meet Go Eun-chan (Yoon Eun-hye). She’s not your typical K-drama heroine. She’s a tomboy, broke as a joke, and works multiple gigs (carrier driver, taekwondo instructor) to support her mom and sister. She’s loud, scrappy, and accidentally looks like a boy.
