I don’t want to be remembered as a woman who locked her maid in a closet for sneezing. I want to be remembered as… fun."

Sam and Jay are renovating the library. Sam is excited about a new 8K drone documentary crew filming the mansion for a "Most Haunted Estates" special. Jay, however, is suspicious. "The last time a crew came, Hetty challenged a boom operator to a duel."

Hetty’s usual snark evaporates. Her face goes pale—paler than death. "That," she whispers, "is the ghost I’ve been hiding from. My mother. She doesn’t just haunt the mansion. She is the mansion. One of the standout aspects of "Ghosts" is its talented ensemble cast, which brings depth and nuance to the show's supernatural world. The chemistry between the actors is undeniable, and their performances are pitch-perfect.

Every time Hetty feels shame, her mother manifests stronger. The resolution is so high that the camera is capturing emotional residue —literal ghost-guilt made of photons.

The lens adjusts focus on its own. And in the reflection of the glass, we see Hetty’s mother sitting in the director’s chair. She claps, slowly.
