But when she zoomed in—which was impossible without everything turning to mush—she noticed something. His mouth moved after the words came out. His shadow fell the wrong way. And sometimes, between frames, he simply... disappeared.

"You uncovered my secret," the President said. His voice warped, skipping like a scratched DVD. "But do you know why I chose 240p?"

For those just catching up, El Presidente follows the rise and fall of Sergio Jadue, a small-time Chilean football director who finds himself thrust into the presidency of the Chilean Football Association. He eventually becomes a pawn (and somewhat of a kingmaker) in the massive FIFA corruption scandal.
