Manny looks up from the screen to see his own reflection in the darkened monitor glass—and standing directly behind him in the reflection is the elongated figure from the tape.
The episode climaxes in the evidence room. Manny attempts to copy the raw file before the server wipes it for the "final version" audit. As the transfer bar slowly fills, the lights in the precinct flicker. The monitors in the room switch on one by one, all showing the same rough cut footage, but now the figure in the puddle is closer.
