NeoRAGEx 5.2 was never the most accurate emulator. It wasn't the most feature-rich. It had glitches, crashes, and a stubborn refusal to evolve. But timing is everything. It arrived exactly when the PC was becoming powerful enough to emulate the 16-bit beast that was the Neo Geo, and exactly when the internet was making ROMs widely accessible.
