The South Korean superstar joins the series as the new male lead, a legendary instructor with a hidden past and a leg injury that ended his competitive career.

In a pivotal scene at the pool, Baicao becomes so lost in thought about Ruo Bai that she sinks to the bottom without resurfacing. Chang An, despite his stoic exterior, leaps in to save her—marking the first time we see a hint of concern from the otherwise "heartless" instructor.

A decent season opener that respects the original’s emotional core but stumbles with pacing and recasting issues. Worth watching if you’re invested in Baicao’s journey and like underdog sports dramas with a wuxia twist. Rating : 6.5/10 — mostly for fans of the genre or returning viewers.

The episode opens in the aftermath of Ruo Bai's tragic absence, leaving the Song Bai Hall in a state of mourning and uncertainty. (played by An Yuexi, replacing Hu Bingqing) is struggling to find her motivation for Yuan Wu Dao. Despite her immense talent, she feels lost without Ruo Bai's guidance, often finding herself distracted or drowning in memories.
