This is just version 1.0. We have big plans for the ecosystem:

Today, we are pulling back the curtain to introduce —our open-source, bare-metal firmware designed to bridge the gap between high-level commands and raw motor physics. automoto-firmware
A 2021 EV showed “cell imbalance” warnings. Dealership quoted a $7k battery swap. Automoto-Firmware traced it to a BMS firmware bug in the coulomb‑counter routine. One reflash later—balance restored, warning gone.
automoto-firmware was born out of necessity. It is designed to be the for small-scale autonomous platforms—controlling anything from a differential drive rover to a custom RC car modification. This is just version 1
At the heart of automoto-firmware is a highly optimized control loop. We offloaded the heavy lifting of velocity and position tracking from the main CPU (like a Raspberry Pi or Jetson Nano) to the microcontroller.
Please provide more context, and I'll do my best to assist you! Dealership quoted a $7k battery swap
