Shaw is a Scottish Terrier and one of the main characters in the animated movie Open Season. He's a bit of a roughneck, with a tough exterior that hides a heart of gold. Shaw is a loyal friend to Boog, the movie's main protagonist, and joins him on his adventures in the forest.

Unlike traditional movie hunters who underestimate wild animals, Shaw’s defining trait is that he actually knows the animals are sapient. He is deeply terrified of an imminent "animal revolution".
