The episode picks up immediately after George Sr. and Mary find out about Mandy’s pregnancy. The family is in disarray. Sheldon is confused by the emotional tension, while Missy is surprisingly perceptive about the drama. George Sr. is furious with Georgie for being irresponsible, while Mary is frantic about the religious and social implications of a teen pregnancy.

Sheldon freezes. He can calculate the gravitational pull of Jupiter, but musical notation is “illogical.” He tries writing a “song” by assigning frequencies to prime numbers. It sounds like a modem dying.
