Leo frowned. Unblock the gateway? He expected a simple flash game—a dinosaur runner or a puzzle solver. But as he pressed the arrow keys, a small, blocky avatar appeared on screen. It was a stick figure wearing a school uniform, standing in a pixel-perfect recreation of the Northwood High library.
He maneuvered the avatar back to the librarian’s desk. On the screen, a shimmering, golden pixelated key floated behind the desk. Leo navigated the avatar to it and pressed 'E' to interact.
